Highfields Country Park is an amazing place! It is home to lots of woods, foxes, deer, ducks, fish, rare bird sightings, hills and walking trails, incredible species of plants and trees and so much more.
It’s a place that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Some of this is because of some of it’s gnarly complex issues of Anti Social Behaviour and excessive illegal quad bike activity. And yet we still keep trying to make it better.

Over 2023 onwards, we have so many exciting things happening. Including the really fun engagement stuff. Dreaming about how we can design some of the lake/park. Heritage walks? Adventure spaces? Natural slides? Park Ranger programme? What ever it is, let’s make it together!
