We've been doing a couple of Community Engagement Meetings (CEM) - formally known as PACT (Partners & Community Team Meetings) around North Doncaster Locality.

What has come up over the many we have attended, is that the issues that were brought up the most were anti-social behaviour, and crime and reporting/communicating of that.

We don't want these sessions just to be a talking shops. There has been a call from all of them so far - from residents - that we can probably come up with an alternative, how can we make these systems better? How can we help make our communities feel safer?

So we thought, let's do it!! Let's have a workshop session with anyone who wants to come along and come up with ideas and design an alternative.

Those ideas can be something small, something that could change the system, all we need is ideas to begin with.

We are certain that with your experiences, creativity and ideas - we will come up with something solid that we can build upon/commission/implement together to make ASB/crime/etc better for our areas.

Because it'll be built with the experience of the community and with ideas by the community - from experience, it is usually way more successful than what 'systems' think will work.

The best way to predict the future, is to CREATE the future.

Come along, meet some people, have fun and try something new!

ANYONE - of any age, young people, parents, older folks, etc can come along.

They’re around every 2-3 months. 

Free refreshments and creative supplies will be supplied.
