In October 2022, we re-launched Woodlands Community Library!

This was only made possible with our incredible dedicated team of volunteers.

Our re-launch has helped us to create a 10 year vision.

Woodlands Library of the Future will be an arts and cultural hub in Woodlands, a library brought to life through a public programme of free talks, workshops, communal lunches and family activities, alongside artistic/design/craft shows/events/commissions/engagements.

Our 10 year programme works with local communities and creative practitioners from inception to delivery alongside the council & partners, with a programme that  privileges social, site-specific (library/adwick&carcroft ward) and collaborative ways of working.

Situated in conservation area of Garden Cities - the model village, a specifically designed village for health, leisure, social and happiness assets - the library will re-envision this through the project, which addresses the relationship between culture and democracy, health & happiness as well as collectivity.

We’re always looking for new volunteers! And people wanting to collaborate with us.

All of the above we have been created from what YOU said you wanted to see in our communities.

Designed with local communities & lead by community members and organizations who are passionate about making things even better.

These would not be possible without communities hard work and council officers & other partner's support.
